Baby BLT
Have you guys checked out our Pinterest lately? We’ve been pinning away some of our favorite catering recipe ideas. This one is perfect for the spring and summer months to come: a baby BLT with jalapeno ranch.
Assemble bacon, lettuce and tomato on whole wheat bread and cut into fourths diagonally. Spear each quarter with skewer. Next create the show stopping jalapeno ranch:
Ingredients:
- 1-1/3 cups mayonnaise
- 1/3 cup buttermilk
- 1/3 cup salsa verde
- 3 tablespoons canned chopped green chilies
- 3/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves
- 2 jalapeno peppers, halved and seeded
- 1 envelope ranch salad dressing mix
Blend ingredients and chill until serving. Squeeze a few tablespoons of dressing into a shot glass and place skewer above. ENJOY!
